Skyward Financial is a Vancouver-based financial planning company. They aspire to simplify the confusing world of finance by providing high-quality, remote education free of charge. With their education-based approach, Skyward equips their clients with the ability to make well-informed financial decisions.
Since 2021, I have worked alongside Skyward Financial’s Co-CEO’s to transform their brand vision into a reality. The original project scope included delivering a logo, brand identity, digital assets, and a responsive website with CMS integration.
The most recent revision of the website was completed in 2024, featuring a refreshed look. We gave their site a little facelift, making it more dynamic and engaging for users.
The goal was to develop a logo and brand identity that positioned the brand as young, educational, and progressive - straying away from the stark, corporate feel that many finance and investing companies have in their logo. In the early stages, it was clearly defined that the logo should incorporate some kind of reference to the sky - specifically clouds. After a few drafts and revisions, the final logo was created; the word ‘Skyward’ written in a bold outline, engulfed in a solid blue cloud.
Working as a team, Skyward Financial and I were able to construct their fully responsive and CMS-integrated website from scratch. They told me their ideas, and using Webflow I transformed these ideas into a dynamic website. We all agreed that the youthful theme should not only be seen in their logo, but across all existing brand elements. The Skyward Financial website is fresh, inviting, and equipped with the necessary information to describe what they do, register for sessions, learn about and contact the Co-Founders’s, answer FAQs, and also learn about the world of finance through reading their detailed and informative blogs.
